Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest

The forest is open year-round for public recreation and is frequently used for camping, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. There are 22 miles of unimproved roads and more than 14 miles of non-motorized use trails that cover a variety of terrain including meadows, ridge tops, and dense forests. There is a Horse Camp put in by the Back Country Horsemen. For reservations contact:
